This week we have been practising retelling the story 'Traction Man' by finishing our storymaps from last week and using these to help us remember the story.

We have also been ordering the events in the story and writing sentences to say what is happening in each in preparation for our first 'Big Write' today - I am so impressed with the effort put in by the children and am really looking forward to reading them all!

We have also been practising counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and have been making these number sequences using different resources to help us 'see' what they look like

We have been continuing our work on 'materials' in Science this week, thinking about what objects are made from which materials - and why that might be!
