What a busy last week of term we have had!

We began the week with a 'Big Write' retelling the story of 'Farmer Duck' that we have been working on for the past few weeks - I was amazed at how much everybody's writing has come on over the term, well done!

To help Farmer Duck out with his jobs for the lazy farmer, on Tuesday we helped him make some Easter biscuits.

We had to put the recipe in the right order and then spotted all the 'bossy' verbs that told us what to do, like 'mix' and 'roll'

We then followed the recipe and baked and decorated the biscuits too!

Finally we used all the bossy verbs we had thought of this week, along with the photos we took as we baked, to help us rewrite the recipe for ourselves.

We have also been preparing for Easter this week by creating Easter 'collage' cards which were very unique and colourful!

Today we also had our Easter bonnet parade, everyone looked fantastic in their creations and it was lovely to see the different designs and all the effort that was put in to each one.

After a short walk to the common we had great fun in our annual egg rolling competition too!

I hope you all have a lovely break and return on Monday 16th April ready for the Summer term!
