In our maths this week we have been practising counting accurately and representing numbers in different ways.
Our English work has been based on the book 'Where the Wild Things are' by Maurice Sendak - we have been getting to know the story this week (including some great role play!) and talking about the images in the book and what clues they give us.
We have been learning about maps in geography and talked about the directions on a compass and what they might be used for. We looked at the difference between a normal photograph and an aerial (or 'birds eye') photograph and then we had a go at building a model map of the classroom from above!
Please remember to practice your spelling words and read your school reading book to a grown up over the weekend.
Don't forget - our Harvest assembly is next Friday 27th September at 08:45am in the hall.
We would love to see lots of you there!
