Welcome back!

We hope everyone had a fun and restful summer break.

We have been getting to know each other this week and settling in to new routines and a new classroom for Year 1!

"My name is .... and I like ..."

We have launched our topic 'Enchanted Woodlands' by thinking about what an enchanted woodland might be like.

We then created some pictures of enchanted woodlands using our ideas....

....and drew some woodland creatures using pictures to help us add detail.

Some of us also made some fairy and elf stick puppets.

Thea had a super idea during her choosing time and made an enchanted woodland out of lego! Amazing!

"There are some trees and plants and the different greens are because some plants are all different colours and some can be brownish green too!"
