This week we have been doing lots of practical maths to help us recognise numbers.

In English we have been thinking about story settings to tie in with our Enchanted Woodlands topic and have been describing different settings. 

We have also been creating our own fantasy setting pictures and used these to think about what we could see, hear, smell and touch if we were there.

I am already so impressed with the effort everyone is putting into their writing!

The spelling words we have learned this week are stuck into your reading journals, please make sure you take some time to practice over the weekend, as well as reading your reading book to a grown up and talk about the story you have read afterwards.
